ADDITIONAL WORK ON MISSION BOLIVAR HOUSE

Todd, Teresa, and Lindsey Faries have just completed an additional journey to the Mission Bolivar house owned by Richard Sampson. As you can see by the pictures they completed the electrical improvements to the home including switch and wall outlet covers, electrical panel cover, light fixtures and overhead fan. Note also that following our last trip another group has completed texturing, taping and bedding and painting of the walls. They also installed the sub-flooring. Richard's home is really shaping up.

LEONARD SMITH

Leonard Smith is in St. Joseph Madisonville. I dropped by his room today to check on him. I was pleasantly surprised to find his room filled with some of our FBC youth. They were sharing a Bible Study. It is a blessing to have fine young people like this. Leonard is doing better and will be home soon.

JULY 5 AFTERGLOW

I'm still in the "afterglow" mode following the great July 5 worship service and celebration at FBC Madisonville. Four hundred and twenty six members and guests shared the excitement of worshipping God in the newly remodeled sanctuary. The entire service was a moving experience. The afternoon meal and fellowship was wonderful as well. Brandon, Glenn, Vaughn and I found the dunking booth refreshing as well. Thank you to all the committees and volunteers who worked so hard to make this day a memorable one.
